On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Dorothy J. Small of Chicago, IL, went home to be with the Lord at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Hillcrest in Waco, Texas. A loving mother of six Children, Desmon, Pamela, Jarmel, Chauncey, Takashi, and Tenisha. Her love will forever be cherished by her Children, loving Sister Camilla, grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great grandchildren, god children and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Pastor Steve Greer entered into eternal rest on Tuesday April 25, 2023. Visitation will be held on Friday May 5, 2023, from 2-6:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at Christian Valley Baptist Church on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Pastor Greer will lie in state from 9:00 AM until hour of service. Interment following funeral service at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
